Newbies here!
« on: August 14, 2013, 09:26:06 PM »
Hi there,
We are a couple almost ready to head off on the great Aussie Dream, we plan on heading off next year, the only debate is WHEN! I (Di) would leave yesterday given half a chance, but Neil, (the sensible one of this couple), says we have to get the house in order so that we can sell it at the best price to enable us to head off! Yadda, yadda, yadda, I know he is right,, but shhhhh, dont tell him I admitted that!
We love photography, fishing, and of course camping and traveling.
We have a 79 series, (Penny), that we are going to be selling, or trading in, we love her to bits, but she has over 420,000km's on her and is just not comfortable enough for our old bones to be able to do the miles we are planning.
At the moment we get away every chance we get, we have a Palomino Bronco for comfortable short trips, an aluminum camper for the more rugged High Country trips that we love so much, and a 21 foot Roma semi off road caravan for the laps we are planning.
Well, that's our introduction, hope to get to know/meet a few of you.
Looking forward to sharing stories with you all.
Best wishes,
Di

How is education supposed to make me feel smarter? Besides, every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff out of my brain. Remember when I took that home winemaking course, and I forgot how to drive?  (Homer J Simpson).
