Its funny, every year around this time a similar uncampingness creeps into the forum. We are all stuck inside just waiting for the rain and chills to stop to allow us to get out and about to enjoy the outdoors.
I suggest that on the weekend you go down and open up your camper, swag, caravan, ute back or just the garage and remember what its all about. I for one will be getting the swags out this weekend ready for a trip away with my son on the Murray river for a night in just over a week. I might even drop up to Evo's show to get the camper itch back again.
If you cant do that go into the trip section and have a bit of a search for your next adventure. I am going away in around 6 weeks and the next trip is still in planning.
MySwag is a great resource of mates, information and camping and outdoors expertise.

Well said.
We actually prefer winter camping as you can have bigger fires and there is a lot less people around.
Now we have our little farm we love winter. Privacy, endless firewood and a permanent campsite.
People in the country towns also seem to be a lot friendlier in winter for some reason.... I have no idea why, but the locals always seem to have more customers and shops are friendlier.
Go on get out in winter, don't let the cold hold you back, buy some thermals and crank that fire.....
