Jayco Fire Sale
« on: April 01, 2013, 11:16:10 AM »
As you may remember, Jayco Newcastle suffered a fire recently.
I just spotted a few 'smoke damaged' Jayco's on eBay, sold through an insurance agency.

Worth a look....

I imagine the biggest issue would be the smoke smell in the fabric.  The tent sections would be okay I wonder if you would need to reupholster the rest?

I do like that outback swift!

That would buff out.

Smoke comes out with a steam/dry clean. Most if not all of the fabric would be salvageable. I would be mainly concerned about heat damage to the wiring etc.
Still a swift outback for 13k would be a dang good price..... hmmmmmmmmm

Every piece of camping equipment I have is smoked, due to dodgy campfires.
