Quantum Info
« on: February 25, 2013, 05:36:47 AM »
Have recently sold my Camprite with a view to getting into a AORC Quantum. Would be interested to hear views on the good, bad and ugly of current and ex owners. There doesn't seem to be a shortage available for sale, so interested to gather opinions.
Cheers

There are a few members on here that have them that will be able to help you out. Captain (member name) did exactly the same as what you are thinking, sold the Camprite & got a Quantum. We were lucky enough to have a look at his Quantum when we went over to pickup our Camprite. If funds are available and when the kids are older, I would be doing the same change over:) Shoot Captain a pm I'm sure he will answer all you questions, he's a really nice person ;D
Cheers

We have a Quantum, #39, and were instrumental in singing its praises to Captain.

We're very happy with ours.  Is been very reliable and any minor issues we've had have been fixed promptly with minimal inconvenience.  We're very happy with the after sales service from AOR.

Out original batteries died after about two years, and on replacing them , had a BM1 battery monitor fitted. Ours has travelled about 50,000 km, including the GRR, Mitchell Falls, and Bungles. It's handled the conditions well, has heaps of storage capacity, and having a dunny & hot shower is just the icing on the cake.

Almost all our camping living is outside, I basically consider the Quantie an ensuite bedroom on wheels.

If you're up FNQ way, drop me a line and come have a look.
