WAECO CFX-35 New models Review
« on: November 28, 2012, 12:51:35 PM »
Hi Everyone,
I am hoping someone on here, has gone out and got themselves a new model Waeco. One of the CFX ones...
I am looking at buying a CFX-35 for the back of the car.

I'd love to understand cooling times, thoughts on power draw and so on.? Hopefully someone has got one hands on.

Waeco have replaced nearly all the electronics and compressors in this fridge, I am hoping for the better, but with the drop of the Danfoss i just don't know, so really love some hands on experience..?

Any feedback on the new fridge/freezers would be great.
Cheers
Justin

Are you shore you cant fit a bigger fridge in there?
I got an 60L old model Waeco and love but I was allway looking for more space untill I got my Camper Trailer.
Best thing about the 60 is its only taller not wider.

I've got a 60l evakool on the outside of the camper and a 150lt Waco upright inside. This was more to keep day trip food cold. Something quick and simple

I have a CFX-50 sitting in my shed Firefox with all the goodies still in all their original packaging, unopened - http://www.tentworld.com.au/products/fridge/item/Waeco-CFX-50-Fridge-Pack1.aspx

I am hoping to do a unboxing video, as well as a bit of a product video.  Just have not found the time yet so it stays there looking longingly at me until I do it.

IMO I'm not worried about Waeco going out on their own away from CCOP (previously Danfoss).  WAECO are supposedly the largest mobile refrigeration sellers in the world, so I'm sure they know their way around a compressor, what works & what doesn't.
