Making the Cub secure
« on: November 19, 2012, 07:22:40 PM »
Hi Everyone
We've got a Cub Supermatic Regal Off Road camper and think there's nothing better for the price.
I'd like to make the storage area under the bed more secure so we can leave semi-valuables in it (little Kogan tv, good joggers, etc) to reduce temptation when we are camped and away for the day. Not that we've had any problems so far.
Have any Swaggers with Cubs come up with good ideas of how to lock down the bed base so that the storage area beneath is reasonably safe and secure, but also easily opened when we are in camp? If  so, I'd be keen to know what you've done, as I'm hoping to do a couple more small personalisation upgrades to the camper in the next few weeks.
Cheers

You could do what Sablesoft has done

Looks like a simple lock for the bed base and you're set. Lot's of good mods in that thread

No good for your TV or shoes, but you could always mount one of these in there http://www.hideawaysafe.com.au/.
