Kirrama Range Road
« on: September 14, 2012, 08:04:13 PM »
If any FNQ MySwaggers are free on Saturday morning 20th October, we are holding a rally in Cardwell to get as much support as possible to get the Kirrama Range Road reopened. It's the Eastern entrance to Blencoe Falls. A beautiful camping spot on Blencoe creek which runs into the Herbert River.
If you're interested please pm me.

We had over 600 people at the rally in Cardwell yesterday  :cup:
Great out come also. State government will match the Cassorwary Coast Council dollar for dollar.
$2.5 million from State Government and same from Council. ;D
Awesome result. Check out this site. kirramarangeroadsupportgroup.weebly.com

G'day mate
Yes it sounds very promising. Look forward to getting up there for a weekend again.
Forgot to mention also that members of the Cairns 4wd Club came down for the rally. :cup:
