G'day all !
« on: October 08, 2012, 02:42:56 PM »
G'day to all out there.

Just jumped aboard and will shortly be purchasing our first CT, upgrading from a tent............ not that there's anything wrong with a tent !
Looking forward to getting away in the old faithful GQ & having some form of a life outside of work.

Gunna have the first run at it in 3 weeks. Grey Nomad time can't come fast enough for me............. ;D
Had a look at some of the forums allready, ( love the Cape York Trip ) and will try to work out how to post pics into the photochain.
Keen, but amateur, photographer, & photochains are a brilliant thing for everybody.

Will be picking brains like there's no tomorra.............but then.....don't we all?

Hope to see you out there!

Donny.

Hi Donny,

Welcome! Lots of brains to pick around here, and the guys are always happy to share their knowledge.

What CT are you thinking of?

Hey Donny,

Welcome!  It's never to late to realise there is nothing more important than camping, family, camping, 4wd-ing, camping and then somewhere at the end of a very long list is work ...

Thanks to all & G'Day Bunyip,

Tossing a few around at the moment...........
Might go Jimboomba............Might go Lifestyle...............Might go Modcon...............Might win Lotto...............  ??? ;D

Trying to rationalize all the ins & outs now..............even looking at the costs of buying the trailer & rigging it out myself..........................Naaaaaaaaaaaahhhh !!!

Even things like MDC stack up pretty well on pricing, but the build quality might be as issue.
Having said that, know 3 people with MDC's, & they haven't missed a beat....
I've seen the DVD they put out on a trip to the tip, & they flogged those things !!

Still, getting close now.................

G'day Donny and welcome mate.

Sure is an exciting time looking around for your first ct, so enjoy it. If you're local to Sydney, the 4wd adventure show is on at Eastern Creek this weekend and there will be heaps of ct manufacturers showing their gear.

Cheers,
Tim
