Afternoon all,
I was staying at Fingal Head last week in the caravan park. It was my first time in a park since I was a POME backpacker in '88.
Since we live in the country, with nobody nearby, we were worried about the potential noise in the night.
On the second night my worst fears were realised! I was in bed, trying to sleep, and could hear people laughing and shouting not far away. I lay there tossing and turning thinking "How rude to be making so much noise
in the middle of the night!"
In the end, I had to get up for a wiz (too much info?) and, on the way back, decided to check the time...It was 8.42pm
I had a good laugh at what a cranky old git I'm becoming and went back to bed.
By 9.00pm (the quiet down time) everyone had ceased their completely reasonable behaviour
and we didn't hear a sound. In fact, the whole time we were there we didn't hear anyone at night.
Dave.
My wife and kids laughed at me in the morning when I told them.
