Hello Everyone

Hi my name is Glen and I'm new to this forum. We have recently bought a new Swan outback as ended up selling our much loved ski boat and upgraded from the Southern Cross Tent as we have 2 boys 6&8 and a 14month year old and we wanted it that little bit easier when we go away with mates.

The options we went with were-
Extended A frame
2 water tanks
HWS and shower
Solar panel and battery
Alpine Bagged ends and awning with walls
Hyland coupling
2 gas bottles
Bed converter
Inner spring mattress
Roof rack
Gas bayonet on A frame to feed Webber Q
And opted for no microwave but a cupboard instead...
I also installed a diesel heater which has been awesome for this winter and have ordered a Stone Stomper to keep rocks down as we are planning on one of the kids dirt bikes across the A frame (channel yet to be made). Also ordering replacement LED's that I found links to from this fantastic forum.

Thank you guys for the warm welcome.. I have a 94 Hilux (turboed and modified) that we have been to the moon and back in but the time has come to upgrade, more so for the kids outgrowing the back seat and a bit more power would be nice. Will show pics of heater install shortly ( work in progress ), just have to make up bracket for fuel tank. Cheers Glen

G'day & Welcome Smitty.

With three kids you might be interested in the bunk bed mod that I saw in another member's camper recently. He has three boys so converted one lounge with a set of collapsable bunks. Now he and his wife get to share a bed, the boys all have their own beds and there is room for their bags.
