Day 10
Today we would see two more MySwaggers pack up and head for home being Trackabout Offroad Campers and Sablesoft. Trackabout Offroad Campers were packed up quite fast and headed for home as soon as the beach looked alright to drive on, which was late morning and just after noon Sablesoft said his goodbyes and headed for the bitumen and destination of home. And one little MySwaggers was left being Yogi and Amanda who would still be on Fraser until Tuesday. Yogi and Amanda sat up on the sand dune in front of camp watching for whales. Yogi soon got his rod as off he went fishing for the afternoon and Amanda sat back on the dune encouraging Yogi’s fishing and enjoying the afternoon sun. The temperature was quite warm in the afternoon and the wind had stopped. Later in the afternoon the ‘pig’ was fired up and dinner started while we waited for the moon to rise again which was well after 7pm that night. Complete darkness you couldn’t see a thing. As Yogi and Amanda sat around the ‘pig’ a young dingo came around the front of the camper, to Amanda announcing dingo and sounding the air horn which startled the dingo and didn’t make much of an impact until Yogi stood up – the dingo was off down the beach and Amanda and Yogi were off to bed. Later on in the night we were both awoken to a dingo fight and there was no way we were getting out of the tent.
