As the early settlers had already been to Champagne Pools , us three ( BlueRoo , Niley , Ute701) , plus BigJules , and Nomad ( who had also both arrived Saturday ) decided we would shoot up there and be back in time for the BBQ at Eli Creek .
But as we woke up there was an unfortunate realisation that the night before when we visited Yogi Camp Central , there was one thing we had not packed away ... and that was our cooler bag with our chocalate supply in it ; and you guessed it the Dingoes found it . They finished off a bag of Freddos , and 2 large blocks . I hope they had stomach pains all day . But the worst part was they left the evidence for us to cry over .....
Looking towards Indian Head from the Champagne Pools track
The very high seas of late had filled alot of the Champagne Pools with sand .
The sand did give a soft edge to the Pools though.
Nomad ( Paul ) did have his surfboard on the roof , so he was keen to check out the waves.

A My Swag Meeting in idyllic surroundings.
We then went on over the track to Waddy Point and pulled up next to a Sand Blow .

We got back to Eli Creek to join the others ... No Problem picking them out ....

Best line ever for what NOT to say :
" Stay with me , you'll be fine ... Wow ! look at the size of that Eel ! "
It's certainly clear water .
The kids loved walking down the creek ( old and young )
The Maheno Wreck was the next stopping point .
It was here we chose a Group Photo with those that were present .
" Hands up , who's having a Great Time ? "
That afternoon back at camp was a nice sunset .

The full moon was a day away .
