G'day.
Been lurking for a while as you do, thought I should say Hi. My name's Gra (short for Graeme as you'd expect). The family and I have had camper trailers for a few years, last year sold a great old Cameron Canvas job and moved into a Making Tracks camper to get a bit more space going on. It's a good camper, imported tent on a nice full-gal Nathan trailer. I'm not scared of a bench saw, battery drill or soldering iron, and have been able to turn her into a good useable rig with plenty of useful home-built bling including extending tailgate kitchen with electric pumped water, quick connects for water and gas, 100a battery, solar, shrouded LED strip fittings and control, pole carriers and all those things we all need to be comfy. Tow it with a 2004 V6 Hilux, standard apart from a small lift.
The wife and I are both studying middle-age degrees so not too much time for long trips away between that and work, but we like to get out with our 2 young daughters at least once every 6 weeks or so for a long weekend as well as a couple of week-long trips a year.
I spend a bit of time on a kayaking forum and recognise a few familiar names on this one so it must be a good joint. Thanks for having me, I'll try not to make a mess on the carpet.
Regards, Gra.
