TJM diff lock
« on: August 03, 2012, 09:47:33 AM »
I was one of the lucky ones to go to the cape this year. I had a front diff lock fitted by TJM Toowoomba a couple of months before we went. For an unknown reason it locked in and did not release destroying the left free wheeling hub. TJM Toowoomba have given me great service and honored the warranty. They have replaced the diff lock, replaced both free wheeling hubs and I recivied a check for the mechanical repairs in Siesia. I can not fault there service.

It was just keen I think.  Being a 'locker' n all.

I've been into TJM Toowoomba a few times and can't fault the service, products or advice I've been given!

I know the TJM lockers had a massive recall and all stock was ripped from shelves for a design fault.  Dunno exactly what that fault was but there is a fair wait on new product.  A work colleague of mine was quoted a 9 month wait here in Kalgoorlie .. but hey that just may be a WA thing.

Sorry I was away for the weekend and could not reply. They could not tell me why it happened, I only used it twice on the trip, be they said it was going to be pulled apart in Brisbane to try and find out a reason.
