Yep sounds ridiculous to me. I reload my own so hopefully this will not be an issue.
Registered guns don't kill people.
Ne jerk reaction to the shootings in Sydney, they ave to do something.. They really need to amongst other (all) offences increase the minimum penalties. Any gun crime should be punished harshly. I've spoken to a lot of crooks in my time and asked if they thought they would get 10 years for breaking into the old ladies home would they have done it, they all say no.
Need to start with the piss weak judicial system...
Don't start me on that....
Rant over...
Renno  :police:

I agree with totally with these comments. A firearms licence is to hard to get and keep hold of to be doing stupid stuff. Ask any licence holder!  :police:

I have no issue with the proposed laws

at the end of the day, the majority of people see guns as dangerous and something to be avoided...kinda like smoking

Therefore, the harder it is to access and safer it is to use....the better for everyone

Please tell me how this will stop the criminals???
The laws introduced will really only affect the average law abiding user of firearms.

Here's and example of why it is a bad and unfair law:

Abdullah (not his real name) has a shooters license and buys a  .38/.357 cal rifle and uses it regularly at the local range/hunting club.

Abdullah also has dodgy biker friends who deal in dodgy .38/.357 revolvers that have been stolen/imported illegally.

Abdullah then buys a couple of extra boxes of ammo each time he applies for a permit, which are then onsold to the bikers.  Ammo is not traceable, has no serial numbers etc etc.

OR

Abdullah just goes on a weekend trip to Vic or Qld and buys what he wants.

How then have the new laws done a cracker???  They haven't!! It is just a penalty on the NSW shooters.  An new tax on people in general who have done nothing wrong.

You can't spell 'funeral' without 'fun', nor 'manslaughter' without 'laughter'

Yeah total wank law, it's as a result of the idiot AG Greg Smith, and the greens support it because it's anti gun. They even acknowledged it won't do much. Fatty Obarrell is living proof there is two types of politician hopeless and useless.
Here for a good time, not a long time!
