Long time reader first time poster
« on: April 25, 2012, 09:52:30 PM »
Howdy all.

My name is Jason, been reading these forums on & off for a while now and thought it was about time I purchased some real estate here.
A few months ago the missus & I purchased our first CT, a 2004 AOR Odyssey XR and absolutely love it; can't stop asking myself why we didn't do this sooner.

Anyways, looking forward to getting to know you all over time, and also sharing in the wealth of knowledge on these forums.

Welcome JBird,

Nice looking set up!  You've covered the first most important thing, showing us a photo of your CT!  I know that you will become addicted to this forum given time (it's something you just won't be able to help).  It's one of the friendliest too, making addiction that much easier.

Having a CT is the most wonderful thing in my opinion.  You can get away easily, have some home comforts, and enjoy the Great Outdoors.

Thanks for the welcome guys, I feel like part of the family already  ;D

With only the two of us and two dogs it is a great setup for us; we wanted something quick and easy for overnight stays as well as something that we could call home for longer if required and this setup fits the bill perfectly.

GGPatrol & Sicilianmama: the camping spot is Blackwood Camp in the Murrindindi Scenic Reserve in Victoria.
There's no dogs allowed, but it didn't say that in the book that we used to plan the trip initially, hence we got there to find that you couldn't have dogs. Being an off-peak period though and seeing as we were the only ones there, we took the chance.
