Easter bunny found us in many places over the weekend.......

At the pub.....

Having a meal.....

Up big hills....

In tunnels.....

Camping the rain....

While we were fixing broken things....

Eating yummy roasts from the camp ovens......

Accidentally treading on nice little caterpillars after someone just took a photo, whoops!................

Stuck on tracks with the other 23 people.....

In very big water holes......

At a very sad memorial :( ...........

And at nice sunsets :)........

Tassie, we love it. :)

The easter bunny found me in the toilet at Emu Point Albany with the worst case of gastro i have ever experienced. 36hrs and 1 IV drip of hell later we finally made it home today as i was not well enough to help my wife pack the camper prior and to top it off we had a bad accident at work so they all have the craps with me that i could not fly up

To whoever did not wash thier hands karma is coming

Mate. Mate, mate.
I feel for you. I really do. I know how it is, been in same/similar situations myself before
Do have to have a laugh though mate.can't help but have a giggle. Just after reading your reply on the other thread, first aid kit contents, about women's time of the month pads, couldn't help but think of your predicament and the need for those pads and your reply......... got to see the funny side.

*edit moved to the right thread*
Had a freakin ball out camping.
Dont know what all this talk is about busy crowds? :P
We had 5 acres to just our small group. 50 odd cars to play with and plenty of good times!!
bit of circle work to mark our location by the Appliance white vanners. :P

getting one of the paddock cruisers ready

sunsets... windy though...

Day 2 we were teching the younger ones to drive the cars.

got another banger running.

and yet another one running.....

after a bit of driving fun all round it was off to the pub for a meal.
Then we came back and i got my fire stick out.

and some fire breathing

then some photo slideshows and movies then off to bed for Day 3
where we started with some airtime in a old gemini

followed by the astra thats starting to look a little worse for wear.

calmed down a little for lunch then went for a bit of stick swinging.

got a sweet signal....

all this for a spent bullet......

but it was still fun!!!

then back to set up the fire for our first camp oven cook off.

with our tin tents in the back ground.

off to get some more yabbies, the damn owner doesnt like yabbies so we were able to take what we liked!!

our makeshift yabbie pot.

Cooking dinner (see Camp oven for more info)

so after dinner was eaten and cleaning up done, things went quiet around the camp fire.
There were lots of silent moments as we all came to realise that this was our last night before heading back to the hustle and bustle of life.

silent but not without smiles all round though....

Day 4
So after a few days teaching the 11yr old to drive we felt it was time she got to take a big toy out.
351 xf panelvan + mud + 11yr old = A smlie that cant be wiped off!!!

she was good at holding the slide and circle work.

saying good bye to all our metal friends.
and the view is amazing!!!

the drive home begins....
(appliance white vanners)

a great summary of the weekend....

we like to take alot of photos, and i know how the members of this site like their photos so i hope there isnt too many....
(i did take an average of 300 a day)
thanks for reading.

The bunny found us at Amamoor State Forrest, west of Gympie, with DazznBec(formally known as Dazza78), Gregandleanne, V8Ute and a few other friends. Had a great time doing a bit of four wheeling and kicking back relaxing.

We consider ourselves very lucky in that we have access to Private Property ( Not far from Sandy Creek ) .

The grass looks good because we go and mow the weekend before .

The far edge of grass is the creek bank , and the tree has the rope swing in it , which is the only way to hit the very cool water ....

It's also a favourite place of mine for photos of the trees and creek .

And I love the end of the day watching all the black cockatoos flying over ( about 60 of them )
