ok so after further investigation, i have found that Yes they are made by Quintrex.
No they are NOT mass produced.
There is a wait time at the moment of 2 months from order to delivery because the build process starts when the order is placed.

Unfortunately Heatherbrea doesn't have an "outback hardfloor" on site  :'( :'(. The closest Outback to my location is in Kempsey which is a 6hr drive or more away.
We are heading to up that way camping on the australiaday long weekend so hopfully the will be open on the friday so that i can make the sorter dash from taree to kempsey for a look.

They certainly look good! I think it is fair to say that most manufacturers seliing at that price point use Australian canvas. It seems that mainly only the cheaper manufacturers are using Oztrail.

Desert edge camper trailers "Outback Hard Floor" well we bit the bullet and drove all the way from western sydney to Kempsey 4.5 hrs drive, just to have a look at on outback hard floor in the flesh. Well after looking at these in pictures i got to have a reall good touchy feely sesion with an outback hard floor yesterday. Not to try to sound biased (cause I WANT ONE), but they reall do have the finish of what you would expect for somthing in a higher price range. They  haven't just made one look really good and take pics of it but the one i saw, and i would assume that they are all just as GOOD. very user friendly, heaps of storage space, and light.

I must say they tick almost every box for us !!!!!!

well now in the process of convincing "she who must be obeyed" although she also looked at it with me and is hung up on the length of our sons bed and if it will fit or not so that may very well be tomorrows job, pull the young blokes bed out of the current camper and run a tape over it to ease any worries.

Hi guys, I own one and love it....but who wouldn't love any camper takes me about half hour to an hour to set up live that's it light and won't rust. Have had it for 18 months so far and half way round oz. Only had one drama with the tent cover zipper playing up. Rang up our dealer and they sent a whole new cover. Any q's ask away

Lamby do you have a soft floor or hard floor ? and half hour to set up i would assume that means you have a soft floor and is that annex roof floor and walls too ??

Did you take any of your own photos Wes. Can you access the storage externally when the trailer is folded down. What is the chassis like. Any other observations.

I have a soft floor breeze deluxe does the job yeah that's annex up, walls maybe a liitle longer but no an hour for everything. We paid a little under 12k

MDS no you cant access the under bed storage when the camper is folded up BUT in saying that we worked out the the only thing we we need to store inside the camper is our table and chairs (not the director style in a bag chair). i didn't take any pics of my own but really didn't need to i got you one of their sales brochures which shows you better than pics i could take and "she who must be obeyed" has done up an almost scale drawing with all the sizes you will need.
