Mine is an end-2010 and it definitely has a more centred axle compensating for the extra length trailer overall. Think of the walkway as being added onto an extended drawbar of a normal trailer. Approach/Ramp-over/Departure angles are appropriate for the trailer's length I reckon..

IIRC Lifestyle just reversed the 'tub' of the trailer, which pushed the axle forward, and put batteries behind the axle, etc.

Each design has benefits and drawbacks.

Am I missing something?
I'm not seeing the "Extenda"/ "Walk-through" option with this manufacturer?

Would you be ok with buying one for that price?

As I'm not going to be able to touch one until the Perth Show in March, I guess what I'm asking is anyone or everyone that has time, if you could drop in and have a look at it and give me a first hand eyeball pro's/cons report, be totally honest, at that price I don't mind rerunning cables, replacing Tek screws with bolts, replacing the dust seals etc. I'd even look at getting a custom Aussie Canvas Tent made to suit.

Fun Police, if you want me to start this in a separate thread let me know or a mod to split it off.
Be careful if you start doing things like u have stated I know you would end up spending more money if you change tent you will end up spending more money. I always think go genuine the manufactures spend a fortune on developing there product and there is always tricks that copiers do not master. Lifestyle camper will last you much longer , we all need to support Aussie made.

I agree, I had a good crawl over it at the show and there would be too much to do to bring it up to a standard I would be happy with, don't get me wrong though, it is still a great CT for the price.

Our focus and budget has now changed to a Challenge Meridian Walk-in.

Cheers
