torn Canvan on a KK
« on: January 06, 2012, 12:51:01 PM »
greetings all, I'm new to this blog. Great to be sharing info about travelling and camping. Anyway, I've just returned from a trip with my new Kimberley Kamper RV and in spite of all the warning I still managed to tear the canvas at the hinge location when packing up....really annoyed. Compared to my previous Aussie Sway I find this a bit fiddly and will have a chat to KK about their design. Does anyone know if the repair requires removal of the tent from the camper body?

welcome

I'd ask KK about if it needs removal or not.

yeh, I think I need a refresher course on packing up the tent! I was so used to my previous CT where this wasn't a problem.

Unfortunately you will need to remove the canvas. I have not managed to do it with mine yet but i some how managed to bust a zipper while opening the trailer...

Canvas ripping, zips busting, doesn't sound like 'king of the off road' :)
