Lets see where this one goes! One week left in 2011, time to get the thinking caps on.
I reckon its time we gave due recognition to those myswaggers out there that respond to posts from newbies like me with great diligence/wit/reserve/insert other trait.
I think its time we gave due recognition to those amongst us that go beyond the call of duty.
Ill like to personally nominate the following swaggers for their repiles and posts during the year.
The Rising Star Award.
Ute 701 for his rapid entry into the scene, coupled with the initiation of several posts leading up to Christmas that have given many of us a new reason for pressing the "read unread posts" button during the christmas period.
The Concise Oxford Dictionary Award.
D4D for his precise, to the point, accurate and extremely fast replies to many posts on many topics. How this bloke can recall links to bygone posts is beyond me!
Other topics Ive thought about, but thought Id leave to others include:
The foot in mouth award (probably me for an early entry on under and over axles)
The best trip report
Long distance traveller award
The speewa award for general confusion!
There will be others that spring to mind no doubt.
