sale of business
« on: February 10, 2012, 06:53:39 PM »
Gday all, Glenn from All Terrain Camper Trailers here. Just a quick one to let all of you know that we have sold our business as of 23rd Jan 2012. We would like to thank all of our existing customers and all those people who have supported our business over the last 15 years. I had a major health scare last year,(I didn,t  know cameras could fit into those kind of places). While the diagnosis is positive its not 100%. Due to this we have decided to travel and see this great country we all get to call home whilst we can. We hope that any body that w considering buying an All Terrain to still buy from them. While we have moved on the loyal staff have stayed on so the skill set remains the same. All Terrain have won many qwrds overr the years with the most recent Offroad Camper Trailer of the Year 2012. We believe that the future of camper trailers is still in Australia not China. It is up to you guys to see that this hope remains true.
On a different note JT was a great competitor to us but also a good mate. I was very upset to see that he is having tax problems. JT if you read this this give us a call if you feel like talking to someone who knows. The guild has my mobile. Trish and I are taking off to Perth soon, If you see us, drop in and say gday. Just make sure to bring some beer,

With no regrets
Glenn and Trish Wilson

I hope you get to 100% health soon and in the meantime enjoy your travels.

I remember admiring another campers All Terrain while in Ballarat and they were very proud giving me a tour of it - you are to be commended!

Being that computers are not my strong point I will try to post picks and let you all know where we are.
Keep an eye out in Camper Trailer Touring as Vlad has asked us to do some stories on our trip as well.
I think the thing I will miss the most is the daily interaction with other 4drivers, tallking about their mods and their trips!!! So if you see us on the track somewhere (we kept the chopped 4.8l Nissan Patrol) please stop and say Gday. Remember we are now unemployed so its your shout. We leave Sydney on the 26th Feb, down to Canberra for my eldest daughters 20th (both my girls go to uni in Canberra) then down to Vic and from then on to Perth via Nullabor and everywhere in between then back via the Connie Sue and the Anne Beadell. We still plan to do our tagalonga for camper trailers to those places that campers can't go to, so keep an eye out for them on the net,

Trish and Glenn Wilson

Congratulations Glen and Trish.

I'll echo what the others have already said - I wish you all the best in your future adventures, and for your health.

I remember crawling over Joff's All Terrain camper a couple of years ago, and was well impressed with how absolutely bomb-proof it was. Great trailer, coupled with sensible, heavy-duty canvas. I liked that you've always used a maroon Pathfinder in a lot of your promo shots too :).

If you're ever in Cairns, drop me a line and I'll shout you retirees a rum or three.

Cheers!
Matto :)

All the best to you and your family, and good luck on your travels. It's a brave man (and family) who can make a decision like this. Very inspiring.

Big News Glenno

Good to see have the sense to put your family and your health before anything else.

Takes a bigger man to do that, than just ignore warning signs, until it's too late.

Good luck and enjoy your travels !
Cheers,

Matt
