G'day from View Bank
« on: October 21, 2011, 09:47:57 AM »
G'day Richard Ellender here ... Rick to my Mates and Dicky to my Uncouth Mates!

I went camping at Rubicon last weekend and met Two members of this forum so thought I'd take a look :)

I'm based in View Bank; a great location and easy road links to all directions.

I have a missus and 2 kids .. 8 and 6 yrs

I'm actually looking initially to get a family tent for this Summer, at present I have only a 2 man dome tent. I want something with a couple of rooms plus annex, looking for quality and ease of use over price, doesn't have to be brand new .. so any tips on that front welcome.

Over the next few Months I'll be doing my research into entry level camper trailers to tow behind my Nissan Patrol so will be lurking around reading through all old posts and getting up to speed with all things related to off road trailer camping :)

Welcome to the Forum Rick, keep your eyes on the classifieds and you may not need to buy the tent. Which ever way you choose as long as you get out there is the main thing

Thanks for the welcome!

When we moved here, just over 10 years ago it was referred to Commonly as View Bank, now it seems that Viewbank is the norm but I stuck with what I was used to!
