I don't treat my kids as shut up and do as I tell you. They actually have input into the family.
We are also talking about North Queensland not not four seasons in a day Melbourne. ::)
Generally a lot of difference temperature wise. 8)
It appears that the Southerners care a lot more than the relaxed people do. >:D

If you all really want to get out of bed ALOT earlier than you already do ... why not try camping?  On average (for me) it takes a very annoying alarm set at regular intervals to get me out of bed to go to work and bugger an hour earlier for that!  When camping, it's early to bed early to rise as a rule.  Nothing beats a Shithouse day camping!!!!!

Let's bring in "Camping Time" much more regularly (let's say fortnightly at the very least) and bugger the pollies and their efforts to make more dollars from we poor workers by dragging us out of bed even 5 minutes earlier for the sake of the God Almighty Dollar ....

The sun still shines when it wants to whether we are up to utilise it or not.  Learn to use your time better and you won't need any extra day to Save.  Most of those in favour are still watching the news at 6 whilst eating dinner then sitting in front of the box with no regard for saving anything.  If the sun comes up at 4.30 (and so do you) and you start work at 8, then you have 3.5hrs to do what you like, unless you live in (say) Sydney where those 3.5hrs are utilised in a traffic jam of massive proportions.

P.S.  Has anyone seen the new ad with all the little deers at the disco and cruising the streets at night and partying in high rise apartments?  So cool!

The greatest temperature variation today in Mareeba (can't find data for Atherton) is 1.9 degrees.  Early this morning the temp dropped 1.9 degrees in an hour, and this afternoon it rose 1.9 degrees.  Hardly a big change and not one that's going to be too noticeable.
