Things to do: NRL Grand final
« on: July 10, 2011, 08:34:59 PM »
Despite my lack of involvement in the organising and the attendance records to date I can confirm that behind the scenes we are full steam ahead in planning a long way around journey to get to this meet and join in the festivities and greeting of national swaggers. My concern is the fact I'm a died in the wool NRL supporter that I will be on the road for the pinnacle of the season as well as the climax of grand final day on the sunday of the meet.

Call is out now for some fellow cockroach and cane toads (and whoever wishes to convert from the inferior codes) to gather and shout at a telly on that one day in September (actually October this year but the saying has been in long enough to know what I mean to the true blue supporters). I'll be sure to find a spot with a suitable viewing and available refreshments and welcome a call to arms of all those travellers heading to the meet, sacrificing their own arrangements, to join me to make a special event of this glorious occasion to barrack for whoever climbs the mountain of the greatest game of all and battle it out for supremacy.

Register your support here.... Declare your teams or who you think will be the teams to be battling it out....

My allegiance says the bronx and any team who flukes it to be punished in the final event....  >:D  :cup:

Cheers,

Ketsi and others,

I will book the TV Recreation Room at Beautiful Valley so you can watch the NRL Grand Final.

Respect....  ;D

Awesome. Will bring the beanbag for a front row seat.... and the Waeco will have an extension cord to be parked right alongside. Heaven help anyone wanting some cohesive communication later that night...   ;D  ;D  ;D

If I come I will be sitting right next to ya... But sorry to say it won't be the bronx. I'm a Parra fan so my team won't be there either. I would say that this year it will be a..... hate to say it but...... Manly - Storm...... Again.
Cheers, Ryano

I don't really care too much who makes the grand final ( although the cheating Storm looks a front runner. )as long as there is plenty of beer drunk and plenty of dribble coming from our mouths.  !!!!! ;D ;D

As neither Parraletic Or The Rootsters will be in the decider, Kate & I will have little interest in the decider HOWEVER as NSWers, we will be cheering on any team except, The Storm [cheaters], Boncos [QLDers] Or Dragooons [because we can].

Go the rest of them.

Hmmm, Who's going to be in the Final?
For me It doesn't really matter as long it is a good hard, fair, game, without ref stuff ups.
Use to be a big Bulldogs fan, then Super league came a long and screwed the game.
Use to play outside Prop, loved it. I'm still good mates with my hooker(That sounds wrong, doesn't it?) from under 17 & 19's.
Anyway, Not long now.

I don't really care who makes the finals, because we are in for the time of our lives with the NRL and AFL finals and the Rugby World Cup just around the corner.

Might just get a TV for the swag and piss off somewhere nice and quiet.
