Change in the weather
« on: August 11, 2011, 09:18:37 PM »
Tonight was our second storm for the week, so the season must be on the change, not much rain at home but a good light show,
cheers Andy

OK gruse, how'd you do it?
Long exposure, or just fluke those great shots?
cheers

The exposures were between 10 and 30 seconds, and just a little bit of luck,
cheers Andy

We went to Alphadale 561 for dinner, nothing, bit of rain...dropped into Wollongbar for a pickup Pizza, trees shredded and the place is a mess. I heard that traffic to Lismore...pulled over to side of the road due to hail, Casino, well they coped it again.

We got home at about 2100, not a cloud in the sky, moon beaming down...blood strange if you asked me.

But it was a rippa of a light show, man, the view from Shelly lighthouse carpark over the sea watching the lightning out to sea...nature..what can you say!

P.S
But...on Tuesday, spotted whilst working, 3 black cockatoos flying closely together in formation, means storm coming, Thursday morning...No birds in the garden, air still, no wildlife yacking, the dogs were quite....old koori weather warning...the boys have been around 25000 years, so they should have a handle on the weather and connections of animal life.
