HELP..... I need a Treg hitch in Mareeba
« on: July 31, 2011, 08:55:18 PM »
Hi all swaggers I am returning from my cape trip, and until now have not had any problems but when I pulled into the motel I seen that the nut from the Treg had fallen off somewhere along the road, but lucky for me I am back in civilization and it is Monday tomorrow.

But does anyone no where I can get a Treg hitch close by?

Thanks for any help

Browny

The thread is a bit "how ya going" if I can't get a hitch I will have to see JFK an find someone to run a die over it before a nut.

Thanks

I dont know how bad it is but can you repair it with a 3 square file? then buy a nut from a fastener shop

i have a similar hitch and the nut worked its self loose and fell off near Thargomindah. Farmer helped me get going again.
used the bolt and nut of a tow ball, which was the right size. still their today.
