No worries Jon.  From what I've seen on U-tube Daniel's Point Raod is not for the faint hearted and has a massive bog hole at the bottom, and is recommended to be traversed top to bottom because of some rock shelves in the track.

I've done Danials Point 3 times in both directions, you can combine Whitemans Rd or the Zig Zag over to Hell Hill then down Danials Point Rd in both directions, I haven't tried Whitemans up though, bit of a risk in a short wheel base 4B, it is getting worse and there have been rumours it might get closed.

I've done 15 of those tracks

- Strzelecki Track SA
- Waterfall Way NSW
- Big Red Track QLD
- Mt Walker NSW
- Dig Tree Loop SA/QLD
- Border Track VIC
- Daniels Point Road Watagans NSW
- Stockton Beach NSW
- Bloomfield Track QLD
- Mt. Gill Track SA
- Oodnadatta Track SA
- Innamincka To Coongie Lakes SA
- Frenchman's Track QLD
- The French Line SA
- Old Telegraph Track QLD.

Cheers Baz.

Baz, how long ago was the last time you did Daniels Point Road?  It's got me pretty interested.

It's been a while 07, 08 from memory, it's worth the drive up, do Whitemans around to Danials Point, it's a good drive, Whitemans is steep, a lot of the tracks are being closed though, Slippery Rock is one, have a look at Wave Rock Rd and Farrells Rd, these are fun tracks, if they are still open that is.

The last bit of this vid is of Farrells

About 2/3rds the way up Farrells

Yes funny when people do that, it is a bit un-nerving on side angles, in the car it feels worse, if you listen closely at the end of the vid, you can hear my missus oh fu## crap fu## fu## and you can hear the guys outside laughing ;D

Only 9 for us.

I agree with others that Skytrek is WAY too high in that list.  Its nice but not as good as the rating shows.  Blue Rag & Billy goats are much nicer tracks, as are others that dont make the list (Haunted Stream)

Yeah its a bit like when you duck when your pushing through tight scrub and there are branches hitting your windscreen

Did anyone hit their roof on that tree?
