NSW trip, camp site suggestions
« on: September 17, 2011, 02:08:21 PM »
Guys, about to leave on a two week or better trip and would like to know if any one in Swag land has the oil on camping spots/ van parks in town on the tour.  We leave Warwick and land in Lightning Ridge. then to Come by Chance races, across the Macquarie Marshes to Marra Creek and  Nyngan.   I am interested in spots around  West Wyalong, Shepparton , Echuca, Hillston, and I want to get to Mays Bend at Bourke but am open to suggestions.  Love to hear any ideas.

Gundabooka NP south of Bourke is well worth a look and a stay. Though you might want to get the sites where you can drive around the bollards as the last time we were there, the camp areas were very rocky and the areas outside of them were nice and smooth, suitable for a soft floor CT.

I'll be heading out to Broken Hill, and then the National Meet, on Thursday 29th if there's a chance to cross paths.

Thanks for the tips people.

Jules I 'm not sure of actual dates and places as we are on a very loose schedule.

About  29 Sep I will be between West Wyalong and Shepparton and staying around there for two or three days.

The most likely spot to meet on the tour would be Nyngan or Cobar but I will probably miss you by a few days.

Closer to then I will make contact and see where we all are.
