Speedy Tents

Has anyone used the Speedy Tents (http://www.epeglobal.com/content/speedy-tents )?  

Thinking of replacing the Oztent RV5 with two speedy tents for the kids.

They are a lot lighter than the current Oztent that we use for the kids, so I am hoping to send the kids as far away as possible! ;D

The Boy has a Mala-Moo Xtra 3 second tent which look identical.  Folding it up is just like folding up the shower tent, only it's much larger in the round-ness of it.  He likes to get a fair distance from our CT which is nice.

Goes up in 3 seconds, but takes another 5 or 10  minutes to peg it down ... about 5 or 10 mins to unpeg it and about 20 seconds to go down ... another minute or two to get the sucker in the bag ... and that's just watching The Boy do it.

We are early adopters and have one of the new OZtent Jettents.

We love it.  Its only the 3 of use. ie wife and 3 yr old but it doing up quick and come down quick. Takes up a bit of room and its not cheap at all but its super convenient.

I have a Shimano version . The tent solves a couple of problems involved with early morning pack-ups . A 5 dollar poly tarp is used as a ground-sheet . An early morning pack-up usually means a wet tent . It is a job that everyone avoids when a conventional tent has to come down . The Speedy tent is easily done .
Pull the pegs after emptying the tent .
Tip the tent on its side and fold it up while standing on the ground-sheet  . You are next to the dry side (the bottom)so you don't get wet . Put the tent in the bag .
Fold up the ground-sheet ; dirty side in .
Too easy .
First stop of the morning get the tent out of the bag and put it in the sun to dry it out .

Yep, we have one and they work well. We have the "Sahara" model.

We have a Malamoo for our son and it works great...quick to set up and easy to pack away once you understand how  ;D  I'm buying three for the grandkids for Xmas as when my son saw how easy they are to use he wanted them :laugh:

Great tents. Wife and I brought on for our last cape trip. Did not take camper. We wanted something that was easy to put up and down everyday. We slept in it for 22 days.
The only small gripe is the shape of it when packed up. A little hard to pack.
