Vacuum flask stoppers
« on: April 11, 2011, 04:05:31 PM »
Hi,
I have a variety of flasks, and now the stoppers are starting to leak.
Checked on line, but I don't need 2000 of the damn things.

I would like to replace the click and pour (read many moving parts and seals) top with a plain old screw top.

Any one else having this problem, and have you managed to source any stoppers.

I am thinking of gumming up the works with sikaflex or similar if I can't get a new one.

cheers

Email them for a price on 2000 .... might only be as much as a new flask anyway ...

..........then you could :

1.) hand them out to kids at halloween
2.) give them to family at Christmas
3.)
4.)

 ;D

Have you tried the Manufacturer for replacement parts ... or is it cheaper to buy 2000 of them?

Hi,
thanks for the link, our local camping shop advised that if I had an Aladdin flask, spares would have been no problem.
Guess that's my reward for buying el cheapo from Target.
