Anybody been watching this show? Sure it may not be a true representation of life on the land and some of the work practices are interesting but I think it's a great show.

I was wondering how they can afford so many helicopters and then I found this http://www.northaustralianhelicopters.com.au

I have been watching it, Its a great show and I would love a backyard like they have.
Helicopters, jetskis, boats, trucks, quads, he has a heap of cool toys.

I've missed the last two episodes, will download them, but have enjoyed immensely. They're all wearing NAH hats and shirts, and the show must be generating some fabulous publicity and advertising for that business.
I'd just like to able to spend as much time and lavish as much attention to my children as they do with their young bloke.

I think there is a lot of money invested in choppers .... no doubt there is plenty of hard work that goes on behind the scenes ...
Cheers Chippy :D

I would love to know what Milton is worth, given he's the sole owner of the company - http://www.northaustralianhelicopters.com.au/about.html
What a job! Looks like the cattle property etc is a side-business to the choppers. He certainly looks like a mad pilot from the show footage.

I've watched every episode and love it. Looks like a very envious lifestyle, but I bet it's very hard work!

I would Guarantee the level of debit Milton would have would be frightening for the normal person and something I couldn’t handle.
But good luck to him.
-
I watched last night's episode, cant believe how much land he's got!
Would love to have the lifestyle (minus the work involved) and maybe move it a little closer to a beach. Is that too much to ask?

Great show and the kids enjoy watching it as well.

I love the show. As per all previous and possible post comments, love to have the lifestyle. The work would be fantastic, flying choppers and wrangling cattle. All kids should spend some time in the bush on properties, learning how to be self sufficient. I wish it was an hour show, not 30 mins. :cup:

my whole family loves the show and yes the level of debit and headache milton would have would be unbeleivable but to be able to spend that much time with your kids and to fly in a heli everyday would just be awsom :cup:

I have worked Far North WA station , they use plans as we use cars . Choppers were only used for cattle muster . This show is all the good bits with a very quick look at the dust & blood & guts that is really what goes on . It is a bit harder to show it all in 30Min's . We used to do a bore run to top up tanks that was an overnight deal & the directions of the trip were very Vang . Gather your gear & go . Not much in $ but well rewarded in the people & life style ;D

Can't wait to see it. I loved the first series and couldnt get enough of that stunning NT country.
As for the rotary's...they would be small bikkies compared to what these guys would spend on trucks, tractors and other farm equipment. Considering I saw them using big bulldozers and graders worth several hundred thousand dollars, a Robbie 22 at a bargain price would be like having another ute in the garage for these guys. Hence why they have so many!
I know that the new cotton picker that bales the cotton, is close to being worth 900 thousand dollars...it's nothing to see the big farms with several of these.
Next time any of you visit the bush here, remind me to go and show you just how big and expensive the toys are that these guys get to play with on a day to day basis.
Even the Air Tractor that my man used to fly was worth 2 million dollars. And he pretty much flew that every day.
(yes, I know the mining guys get to play with big expensive toys...my point here is that the farmers have got a lot of similar toys too and it's not uncommon!)
Anyway...can't wait to see what the Joneses have been up to in this next season! I reckon that their backyard is just awesome!
