With all this wild weather around at the moment, has /is anyone using the hail type storm covers and if so, what are your thoughts on them?
Cheers.

Just had a look on the web yesterday. Around $250-350 gets you 6/4mm foam padded top/sides, $600 an inflatable bubble. Haven't looked for a camper trailer version yet. Cheaper than the insurance excess but probably destroyed in the event of a storm.

Got one for both vehicles. About 1/2cm thick on top, so will probably stop hail, but not cricket balls :D

I use a shed. ;D

I used Westfield's shed in Canberra's bigun earlier in the year. Hard to do with the camper though. I think the insured value exceeds the probable sale price now, so not worried.

Not sure but like cars, don’t they reduce the value over time

No it's not, they don't depreciate the agreed value. Can't find the part of the pds where tis is stated.
