Title: Wifi Solar App
Post by: xcvator on January 03, 2020, 01:14:14 PM
I'm looking for an app that wifi connects to my inverter that can tell me what my bill is/will.
There are heaps of them that you can get, I've currently got Zever which shows all the details of the power generated BUT you can't enter the FIT, rate you pay or daily supply charge.
Any clues please

What Inverter do you have?

We have a Fronious Inverter, the Solarweb App that they use allows all tarrifs (feed in, mains use)  to be pre set. Also has a function that allows set up of multiple time based use tarrifs.

I think you'll find that a Fronius Smart Meter is needed to make full use of the Solarweb app.
The Smart Meter is installed in the main fuse board.
It monitors incoming, production, outgoing, and usage.
Without a Smart Meter, the Solarweb app will only show production.

Correct.

This may be of interest, they have a promo in SA but not sure about other states.

Spread Sheet - Free

Only takes a minute to read the meter and plug in the data.

Zever

dont they have a dedicated app that can be customised with relevant rates?  Zevercloud, or Zeversolar?

If your using Zeversolar you can set the Fit via income factor in $ in the system attributes tab.

It’s down the bottom right in the system setup

Is it a new system?

The technician from our Installer set up our Web App and registration on my mobile phone at the time of installation.  Something yours could have done..?

Keith, in order to see everything you want you may need something like a Fronius Smart Meter or Solar Analytics Monitor added to your system.

The Fronius Solarweb app allows me to enter the FIT and network buy price, but I haven't found anywhere to enter the daily supply charge.
Other monitoring apps may allow it, but they may want $ for the service.
