Once again we will be doing the MEGA Raffle during the National Meet which will be drawn on Sunday evening just prior to the Famous $5 Note Auction (http://www.myswag.org/index.php?topic=52804.0 (http://www.myswag.org/index.php?topic=52804.0))
Tickets will be sold throughout the National Meet weekend prior to the drawing, but we need you to help with donations for the prizes. Prizes can be anything, either camping related or not it doesn't matter just as long it would be something you would be happy to win yourself.
All proceeds of the raffle go to the RFDS.
Proceeds from the $5 Note Auction will go towards the MySwag server fees to help with the costs of running this awesome forum.

It is made by Polaris Innovations in Brisbane.
Comes with canvas cover,(bit scuffed) and pot rack with canvas bag.
I hope the attached picture works.

To keep with Rusty's offer, I'll put this up. Hmmm, is there a 'swaggers trend noticeable here?
-
We'll bung on a bottle of scotch to be included, for those with some taste in alcohol.
Could someone transport to the Nat Meet for us please.... preferably unopened.

Yeah, but bloody Rusty's going and you know what a pain in the arse he is..... ;D
Maaaate, we ran a Nat meet with Rusty's help..... I don't think I've recovered yet.
Plus, i'm off to have an op done soon, most likely in the next 90 days after being down the hospital this afternoon.
(Nothing that should kill me)
You can put it down as a donation from Country Lane Classic Cars. :cup:

Rusty, Robmac, Niley and MarkVS are going so perhaps one of them could take our offerings?
Who would you trust? ;D
I could pick your Scotch up and drop off the towball in a week or two.

Rob, I'm heading up to Byfield NP this Wednesday for a week or so. If the timing's OK, I can meet you at Country Lane Classics with goods after that.
-
Hey Steffo, call me on 0411 545 025 when ya ready so I can be home.
Rob will pickup from me and transport to the Nat Meet.
Hey rob, if you're travelling down with Rusty's group/convoy, don't let him get his grubby mitts on it.
Rusty will drink it and refill it with cold tea just to make me look bad.
-
Ok Kev, we will keep in touch and when Steffo is coming to your place let me know and I will join you for a cuppa.
My number is 0414 881 682
Cheers

Be safe with me, can't stand the hard stuff 😀

OK, I now have a yummy 1 litre bottle of Johnny Walker here on site at Country Lane Classic Cars ready for pick up.
I might see if ROB WANTS TO DROP OVER bugger, bumped the caps button, for a coffee and grog pickup, seeing he would be the closest to me/us.
-
Kev & Rob, I'll be returning from Killarney way on Sunday the 31st. It's easy for me to get home via Shady Lane and Mt Glorious. Probably around 1330ish, timewise. Yes/No?
If not, Markvs isn't too far from me.
-
Hey Steffo, Robmac is coming over on Wednesday and will pick it up then.
The ol girl only gets sunday off, so we head out somewhere for lunch.
Thanks for the offer, but Robmac has it covered.
-
OK, RobMac now has the Country Lane Classic Cars scotch donation for the swag meet.

Sorry for the delay in getting this to you Folks - has been pretty hectic for Team Alloway since returning from the Meet. Both Brett and are straight back into shiftwork whilst juggling back to school commitments etc with the Tin Lids. I must shamefully admit that the box of monies raised by the raffle is still stashed in my wardrobe but I have put aside this Thursday night (after the kids are in bed, Brett's away at work and I've finished my run of 3 night shifts) to sit down and count the monies ready to draw a bank cheque on Friday morning. I'll update this thread with the amount raised and a piccie of handing over the cheque to the RFDS on Friday.
A huge thank you to those who donated a prize/prizes with special mention to those who managed to donate prizes even though they were unable to attend the Meet - that's a great effort Swaggers! Kudos to you :cup:
Thanks also to those who purchased tickets - your donations will most certainly be greatfully received by the RFDS.

Well I’ve counted the raffle monies Folks and we raised $1299.15 for the RFDS! Thanks again to everyone who donated prizes and bought tickets. I must also mention Tub, Graham Family and Rusty as, each time we “fined” each other on the way to and from the Meet, $2 was put towards RFDS.
I’ll bank it tomorrow, draw a bank cheque and take it straight across to our local RFDS base. I’ll get a piccie of the handover and post it up
