I can't seem to find any information on Qld Transports website in regards to selling a Camper to a person in NSW. Does the buyer source forms from the RTA or are the standard registration transfer papers from Qld transport okay. I have obtained safety and gas certificates and have all that paperwork.
Many thanks
Josh

A quick search of NSW RTA revealed it will require an inspection for NSW registration.

I wouldn't think I need to organise that? The new owner would need to do that when the go to register it

You can't transfer registration to an interstate owner.
In this case, you remove the plates and hand them into the authority. The new owner can obtain an unregistered vehicle permit to tow the trailer home.
Once home in NSW, they will need to get a blue slip and register in NSW.
Cheers,
James

Thanks for the replies, the new owner is going to register to his sisters address in QLD so we won't have to muck around with anything ;D

So now that you have that issue sorted, you now need to tell us about the replacement?

We picked up an Emu X Country 4x4 camper trailer prior to Easter thid year. Fantastic product but we haven't nailed the set up of it yet. Took way to long and then things got a little damp in some rain on the first night. Not the campers fault just not set up perfectly correctly which allowed the issues to occur.
Only used it once, need another go. I think I'm going to add a large tarp over top next time.
