The main belt on the company 2007 diesel hilux has split and I have the new belt but its nloody hard taking the old one off. I have worked out the tensioner that slackens the belt but I need to be under the car to access it and not sure from there as it moves slowly but near impossible to push the tensioner and take the old belt off at the same time.
Any one removed their belt and can advise.

Not sure about that particular model, but I've had success using a screwdriver as a lever, jam it in hard until it starts to peel the belt off and gets real tight and then hit the ignition but don't let it start. Reverse process for installing the new one. Stuff it up and you'll be patching holes in the radiatior too haha - it's always gone well for me.
You'll need to see which way it spins to work out what side to stick the screwdriver.
