Hi All,
We have a Trackabout SV Extenda and I'm struggling to find a suitable place to fit the fire extinguisher.
Any advice and options would be great, pics if possible.
Thanks in advance.

Fit it where ever it can be got quickly & then live with it .

Mount it anywhere you can for transporting...
then when you get to camp, put it where speewa suggests - the easiest place to get it in an emergency.

I whacked both of mine next to the back seats lying down....easy to get to and cant be stolen

I don't have a track about
I keep the extinguisher and fire blanket in a storage box but when we setup camp, the fire blanket is hooked on the slide out kitchen and the extinguisher gets put in the extinguisher mount that I have screwed to the front of the CT about a meter from the gas top.
imo, have them out ready to go.

Thanks all for the comments.
Thinking the store it easy and get it out when we set up sound good.
Originally I was going to mount it on the outside of the trailer but not sure how it'll go in the elements when travelling??

They mount on the outside of firetrucks, hazardous chem tankers and trucks or we did for years :) Just get a canvas cover made for it to be sure. behind stone guard would be good.

I store my extinguisher in my rear wheel bag on the back of the Trackie. The bag has two side pockets and it sits in one of these. Easy to get to but gets taken out and sits next to the kitchen when camped.

I've mounted the mounting bracket to a small piece of ply with a steel bracket bent to form a "U" shape at the top. In transit it sit over the edge of the Drifta pull out box with the extinguisher inside the box. Get to camp, lift it up and flip to the outside so it's easily accessible from the kitchen.
