hi all,
i have a few small (4mm diameter) stone chips on my honda CRV and they have started to rust...
just wondering if anyone has a preferred method of getting this sorted?
i have the colour code of the vehicle for the paint, but also looking for ideas on how to treat the rust beforehand...
thoughts and advice appreciated.

Hey paceman
As soon as I used to notice a chip I'd cover it with the daughter or wife's clear nail polish!
If you make a twirl out of a bit of fine emery you can clean up the surface rust. I then just use a bit of touch up. If fussy you can build it up and then polish it in a bit? I get the touch up from the paint specialist and they mix it into a nail varnish like bottle

so, no need to treat with a rust preventative? could i just use some nail polish and then the touch up paint?
