This poll is NOT about politics or the expression of political views.
The most powerful democracy in the known universe is about to elect it's 45th president.
If you had to place your money on a bet now, who do you think will win?
Note; The question is not who should win? That is an entirely different matter.
Whether you agree or disagree with American politics, lifestyle or international influence, the reality is that they impact all of us in so many ways.
Their election process epitomises much that is right about democracy.

the NRA..
Yep
Absolutely frightening what's happening over there. I would dispute all the positive statements you made about their democracy in the OP.
I think a minutes silence is required; America as we (thought) we knew it is dead.

That line belongs in a joke section.
Need a box to tick for "who gives a ****!"

Hmm. You might/should think differently if you have a superannuation account.

Here's another option worth considering. ;D

I am afraid I have not been taking that much notice to vote. Just a very boring and expensive exercise. Yes it will impact on all of us, but so does China. I just hate the whole USA is the best etc thing. I did read a bit of what Obarma said in some recent speech and thought 'what a load of.....'. Sorry. Kevin

If you were American and you had a super account, you'd be in the minority !
When I told a yank about our compulsory super, medicare, 4 weeks holiday, long service leave etc, etc, he said where did we all go wrong ???

I was not referring to the Yanks in relation to superannuation.
When Wall St sneezes, the ASX gets pneumonia.............................unfortunately. :'(

I know, that's why my super has been converted to cash until the world settles down again. 2 % is a bit better than minus 5% per annum.

The voting process for the Presidential elections is a lucky dip at the best of times, however H. Clinton is the standout candidate from both sides. The Trump sideshow is only an aberration, but makes for good "reality TV" I suppose.

its ok - it will be like Bush.. if he loses he will have enough coin to "donate" to the Bush family, then take it to the courts and have all the Bush family rello's give him the win...
