Hi Cub Club
Have been reading some of your blogs as a guest for a while and have gathered some good info.
My wife and I have very recently (1 week) purchased a 2009 Cub supamatic escape with trans continental pack. Very nice unit which has been well looked after. We plan to escape over weekends on a variety of terrain. Nothing to serious to start with, but have some queries on the trans continental package as to how far to push the semi off road package.
Has the usual set up 14" wheels with cargo rated tyres and 5 spring leaf suspension with slip rear end etc.
We live at port Macquarie and one of the escapes will be to Point Plomer on a basic off road track with numerous pot hole sand sections etc.
Chasing info from other owners on how this package stacks up or whether I need to consider some mods for future adventures.
Happy days

We have a 2012 Supamatic with TCP and did the Gibb River Road and Cape Leveque in our last year with no problems. All the suspension and tyres are still stock standard, though we have upgraded to a McHitch to help when off road.
