Title: Perth > victoria freight?

Anyone know a cost effective way to get aluminium sheet from peth to geelong or melborne?
2400 x 1200 ,about 15kg a sheet aparantly.
Any suggestions apreciated.

Put some lift points on each corner then buy a heavy duty drone.

Connect to bottom of drone like you would on a helicopter
, then sit back at home and just fly it over.

Not being a smart-a*** but buy it locally - I would think the cheapest possible freight would well & truly outway any savings

Problem is its size, it's fragile and that it would need to be top loaded. I reckon it would cost a bomb to freight it over.

Its 2 bar checker plate witch i havnt seen over here.
He imported it from china.
I can get it for 90 a sheet witch is about half what i can get 5 bar here in 2.5mm for.
I had a bit of a look at a freight calculator and if he cuts it into the strips i need it costs alot less in freight.
Ill have a look here though

ring any of the big freight companies as they usually come back from the west empty anyway so a back load would be an easy fit for most of them
