Hope nobody is around this area....
Residents near a dam on the NSW South Coast have been ordered to evacuate their homes due to the "imminent failure" of the waterway.
A NSW State Emergency Service spokeswoman said the failure of the Jerrara Dam, just west of Kiama, will result in extremely dangerous flooding downstream on Mount Brandon Road, Jerrara Road and Jamberoo Road.

He hasn't responded since 2pm-ish.
I hope he is okay

Fingers crossed. There's been a heap of evacuations around that area.
That dam was in the process of being decommissioned so they had already started lowering the wall, hence the overflow. They were worried water would svour and undermine it causing a collapse. Nothin in the news about it going though.

I am alive. had to go out and do some ses stuff. Between rescuing cows, horses and people I have't had much time at home.Still raining .Jerrera dam wasn't as bad as media portrayed and it is pretty much farm land that the water would flood into. Now for a quick nap and on the road tonight as a paramedic.
