Title: Hardfloor camper gas assist struts orientation
Post by: crappsy on July 11, 2015, 02:35:53 PM
So just looking at my camper and noticed that the gas struts that assist in folding over the floor are mounted differently on the left to the right. Ie one side has the black end up and the other has it down. Is this normal ? It is Chinese one so could be some laxed manufacturering, or could be normal I don't know.?

Other  way around,  the shaft should be down so black cylinder on top that is so the small amount of oil in them lubricates the seals
