79 leaves all the other dual cabs for dead. At least Toyota make one decent dual cab.....

 79 series is not really a competitor for these utes. Size and engine not to mention price puts it in a league of its own.

Only issue is only 1 cup holder. If they had a non basic one with a few creature comforts i would buy one in a second

Sorry guys not sure how you come to the conclusion that the 79 is the best dual cab. Less fuel efficient, less power less comfort, less features, less safety ect. The only thing the cruiser has going for it is the v8 sounds unreal with a good exhaust on it but aside from that they are ancient.

Just my 2 cents worth and I have my flame suit at the ready

Your right in what you say, but I don't recall seeing pictures of any of the 70 series with a chassis bent like a banana.

Oh yeah, and they pull like a 14 year old........

To a certain extent I agree;
Comfort - OK but poor compared to other Utes
safety - Ok but poor compared to other Utes
Fuel efficiency - who cares, don't by a real 4wd workforce for fuel economy. Buy a Prius.
power - Shitloads of Power and unreal torque
Reliability - nothing to compare it to ......nothing.
North QLD and the Norther Territory have to be the capital of the world for 70 series Cruzas. They are literally everywhere except on the back of a tow truck.

I agree that they are overpriced but they are without a doubt the toughest and most reliable twin cab ute and 4wd.
