Post by: adamu8610 on June 27, 2015, 08:10:21 PM
Hey everyone,  still new to this just brought a camper and trying to get it set up i am in the process of buying a fridge/freezer but i am having trouble finding a decent size one that will fit in the trailer or my ute with a hardtop they all seem to be to high, any suggestions would be great.  Thanks.

I have an EvaKool which works well.  They will custom make.

The ARB 35L and 60L fridge/freezers are relatively low profile.
ARB say they were designed with utes in mind.

Evakools tend to be shorter, but wider. Very happy with ours

Another vote for Evakool. We also have an Ironman fridge in the tug and it has always done its job with no problem. It was a fair bit cheaper than the rest too.

Cheers,
Matt

measurements would help, but the older style waeco cf range are low and wide. Like this one 80L and only 500mm high.

Hey thanks for the replies,  it would need to be no more than 450mm in hight I have found a engal that will fit although was hoping not to spend over $1000 probably around 60 L.

I'm sure there was a comparison chart somebody did up, fairly certain it included dimensions.

Evakool 70 litre poly fridge is 430 high which is why I got one it fits through the access panel to the walk up area in my lifestyle meaning I could access without having to open trailer.

Can get heavy though.    and will probably be around the 1k unless you can wait for specials
