Hi everyone
Following on from my last topic of my stolen trailer, I have obtained cctv footage of the trailer being towed by the thief and need to have the image enhanced to get a better look at the picture to determine make, model etc of car
Can anyone point me in the right direction of getting this done or who to see etc. I am desperate to catch this bugger as I think he is still around in my district

speak with some security companies as they may go thru this themselves....

I would probably ask the coppers as there are a few high end level bits of software that they may have but in my experience don't expect a lot. A lot of CCTV is 240 or 380tvl which is pretty low quality and it's the old story, garbage in garbage out. If the DVR has the ability to take some snap shots maybe upload a few images on here and see if anyone on here can clean it up, I know I'll have a crack if you do and there is probably some decent photos shoppers in the photography section that might have some handy skills.
The stuff you see on CSI is not real, you can't make something from nothing.

The best advise I have for you mr hilux is to take the footage to your local police staion and attach it to your unlawful use complaint. let the coppers deal with it as they will have the means to enhance it if it is possible. Good luck mate

Friggin grubs....
What about throwing a link to the CCTV up on here ? - Maybe someone can ID the make of vehicle ?? - Any pics of the trailer ??
I'll send you a PM as well...

For my video editing I am using Wondershare.
From there I can export it to HD and it makes the quality better. Although with very low quality it might not be as good.

Mr Hilux,
If you PM me,
I may have access to the footage outside the new preschool which could show it being towed away if they went that way.
A long shot, but worth a try.

sometimes a photo/screenshot put in sepia will make features stand out that you wouldnt normally pick up. it sometimes makes the number plate a little easier to identify.

Whats sepia??
-
Sepia tone is similar to black & white but picks up yellow colours...similar to really old photos..if ypu take a still shot, then in one of the photo editing menus, you should be able to change the pic from colour to 'sepia'

Oh yeah of course thanks
