Hope Darwin is OK for service. My mate broke a couple of radiator mounts on his 4runner when there & had trouble finding some up there.

Hey Firefox,
You may have broken a few things on rough roads but at least you have been able to have the opportunity to drive those roads!
How's the van itself holding up? In particular the glued joints? Am very interested as am looking to build a CT using the Styromax products but will be taking it in extreme 4x4 conditions.
Cheers for your thoughts.

Van itself is brilliant never had a problem. I've even had a hitch failure and everything worked brilliantly.!
I actually love the fiberglass as it's gets very very dirty and it cleans really well, i carry a small bottle of acetone with me to really clean it if i need to.
Glue.. Well we glued in the dishwasher! Lets just say NO blood was required getting it out, but it did take about 30 mins of cursive words and 2 people to get the glue to come away!
Going really strong and very very happy with everything at the moment.. I had to expect the dishwasher was going to die, it's a F&P dishdrawer not really meant to be in a caravan, so after 2+ years of bouncing around it was pretty good.
A brand new one on the same model just went in... Air con failure was just a fuse in the end... Common problem in them.
And a LED light which went pop...
Not bad to be honest pretty happy so far with repairs. Nothing structural and really nothing that even looks like it might be an issue in the long run.

Ok, thanks for the update. Good to hear that problems have been minor.
By the sound of it, the Styromax panels and their glued joints should stand up to years of off road use?!
What do you recon would be the worst / roughest section of road that you have travelled on so far with the van?

road into gunlom falls! First 20km was horrific.. Even shook the tow points from the front of the car, smashed the aircon in my vehicle, someone's else, destroyed the dishwasher, shook everything else to pieces as well.
Wasn't fun!

The corrugations on that road into Gumlong are terrible -- nearly lost one of my spare wheels, the nut holding one of the the spare wheels on the canopy had completely gone, and we only noticed when we only noticed after we were back on the bitumen, and had parked at the ranger's office, put a new nut on and all was good. Needless to say I have modified the design, and it now has a locking pin.
Then after the ranger's office we drove into Moline rock hole for a swim, then driving out -- notice on the track that someone had lost a awning -- I though that I had found a awning, till I realise it was my awning. All the factory pop rivets had all broken. Yep it had fallen off on the way into Moline Rockhole, we didn't even notice it was missing, till we found it on the track on the way out.
It amazing what corrugations do to your gear ;)
