Title: Foward Folding CT Storage
Post by: PB on June 11, 2015, 08:06:51 PM
Hi Everyone,

I have been looking at a foward folding CT at the moment and what none of them show in the pics is storage inside the CT. Under the seat cushions are there lids/doors that offer storage? Can someone post some please?

Thanks

I don't have any pics sorry.
But there's not a lot of room in them.
You (in ours) can only put little stuff.
The rear one only accesses the kitchen when its closed
The side ones still have the guards inside.
Others may be different.
Best to go look at the models that interest you in the flesh.

Yes - room can be a problem. Our CT has a forward kitchen, leaving a long corridor from each side at the back end. This area can be accessed from inside, as can the side areas. These have limited storage area - but are still useful.

The main storage area for us is the floor of the trailer, which offers quite a bit of space. this area needs to be emptied once the CT is opened, but that is not a problem.

Luckily we have two large bins on the front which also help, even though the kitchen is located there as well.

Let me know if you would like some images.

Cheers

We have no issues with storage with our Ecommate, the trailer has a huge box up front that has a massive fridge slide  and plenty of room on the other side, plus another large storage box on the front. It has plenty of storage draws in the kitchen and inside the trailer it has storage under the step into the main bed and also some storage around the wheel arches accessed from inside.

Thanks. So effectively there is no where to store your clothes etc except bagged/boxed on the floor? I will get to see a couple in the flesh here in Darwin soon at the 4WD Show, so I will make my mind up then.
