"Date plantation (six different varieties) has the only irrigation licence in the region (115 Megalitres). The best place to grow dates in Australia. A great opportunity to expand the business exists for those prepared to be at the forefront of a fledgling industry."

.... do the PRC like dates??.......    ;D    ;D    :police:

The only thing I can think of is the market must have fallen out of their dates  ;D

Great place. Bit far for a weekender/hobby farm though. Wonder what it will sell for.

It was a peaceful and lovely spot the last time I went through there. Bit far to the nearest civilisation  though!

fantastic place.

I spent three days there in 2010 on the way home, after the Simpson Desert Bike Challenge. (the year we did the Anne Beadel)

I think I may have spent most of all three days letting my rear end and my legs recover in the hot spring.

If the funds appeared in my bank account... I'd buy it tomorrow.

Every time I've stayed there it's been pretty full, and I've thought it would be a reasonable earner, however there would be some very long hot lonely months out there.

Great spot though.
